What once started off as a Food Truck - now has a home!
YGFBFKitchen Restaurant and Catering is a local family owned and operated restaurant inspired and influenced by family, friends, and good food. Chef Maryann and Trevon Leon are the owners.
Some may ask what does YGFBF mean? Well YGFBF simply means -- Your Girlfriend Best Friend ;) Catchy right? YGFBF was born out of MaryAnn’s passion to provide friends and family an alternate to "traditional fast food" and to also "lend" her passion to cook for those who like Southern home cooked meals without being in the kitchen themselves :
The Southern table usually involves cornbread, cast iron, and a whole mess of vegetables. But it’s not truly a Southern table without some genuine hospitality.
That might sound a little old-fashioned, but we’re not afraid to be old-fashioned where it makes sense. This means greeting people at the door, getting to know them a little while they’re here, and thanking them as they leave. Once you dine with us - your’re family!
Dishes created at YGFBFKitchen are made from scratch and as ordered - so there is no “fast food” here - we like it that - and we are sure you will too!
